In addition to been a registered Shipping Agency, the company is also a Custom House Licensed Clearing & Forwarding Agent in Sri Lanka providing logistic services to the Import /Export Trade in Sri Lanka.

The Management & Staff of Vin Ocean Shipping being in the Shipping & Logistics Industry for a well over a decade is fully conversant with the customer needs when it comes to providing logistic services to its clients.

The company always strives to maintain high level of efficiency & reliability in the services provided to its clients. Due to the high standards of efficiency & reliability the company has maintained, it has been able to win major government contracts with regard to providing logistic services in Sri Lanka. With a wide international network the company is able to offer door to door service for the clients.

With our strength in the Logistic Sector, it has been easy to handle the Shipping Agency business too wherein we charter ships to our clients at very competitive freight rates & effect dodo to door deliveries their consignments be it Containerized Cargo or Break-bulk Cargo.

WHAT We Do

In the Shipping Agency Business our company has experience in handling cargo operations on Container Vessels as well as on Break-bulk Vessels, handling vessels calling in the Port of Colombo for Dry Docking, Bunkering, Crew Change, Ship Spares Clearing etc.,

Our company has diversified its operations in the Logistics & Ship Agency business beyond the Port of Colombo to cover other Ports in Sri Lanka too, namely Port of Galle, Hambantota & Trincomalee.

With the increase of pirate attacks on vessels & owners engaging Maritime Security Companies to provide on board security to their vessels transiting the High Risk Areas (HRA), the company has been appointed by these Marine Security Companies to provide Logistic services connected to their security teams from Immigration & Customs clearances Air Port Transfers as well as storing their armed gear in Government owned armouries.

We are also Licensed Bunker Brokers in Sri Lanka & raises bunker nominations at very competitive prices. We have stemmed many vessels with their Bunker requirements in the Port of Colombo, Galle & Trincomalee at alongside berths as well as at Anchorage & Off Port Limits.

We have our own subsidiary company providing Ship Chandling Services to any vessel calling in Ports of Sri Lanka be it Provisions, Deck Stores or Boded Stores at most competitive prices.
